Open-air Shelters
Mozingo Lake Recreation Park features 12 open-air shelters available for public use. A total of 4 shelters can be reserved online and the remaining 8 are available on a first-come first-serve basis.
- Shelters may not be used or rented for commercial purposes and the sales of goods or services on the premises are prohibited.
- Firearms, fireworks and other explosive devices are not permitted on the premises.
- No nails or tacks may be driven into any part of the shelters.
- All shelters shall be vacated by no later than 11:00 P.M.
- Activities which involve excessive noise or other disruptions shall not be permitted and may result in expulsion from the park.
- A special event permit is required for shelter events with more than 75 persons.
