Mozingo Outdoor Education Recreation Area (MOERA) is a 320-acre lakeside outdoor education and leadership development area operated by Northwest Missouri State University.
MOERA is a unique outdoor education area for group leadership development, teamwork, self-esteem and empowerment activities. A customized challenge course is available to meet your team goals and all programs are facilitated by trained staff members. - Alpine Climbing Tower – 50 foot structure provides a challenge for beginning to advance climbers.
- Carolina Climbing Wall – 50 foot climbing challenge featuring 6 independent routes of climbing difficulty.
- Odyssey II Ropes – 2-tiered ropes course accommodating up to 16 persons, specialized for team-building.
- Low Element Course – Low element structure to challenge your team physically and mentally.
- Archery – Public and special event target with field archery available. Features a 14 target field archery range.
- Trap Shooting – 3 American Trap Association trap and wobble trap courses. Public shoots, leagues, and special event programming is available.
- Canoeing & Kayaking – Group or individual rentals available for paddling experience.
- MOERA Classroom – Facility includes a small kitchen, tables, chairs, and white boards.
