Mo-Kan Kayak Fishing is a group that was put together to support the growth of kayak fishing in the Kansas and Missouri areas. Mozingo Lake is one of the lakes included in the series for 2018. It is the first time the series has been held our location and is expected to have over 30 kayaks participating. A growing group of kayak fishing enthusiasts primarily from the Kansas City, they meet frequently to share their love for the sport and compete in some friendly tournaments throughout the year. Come join the fun as friends, family and fishermen to honor the memory of Travis Ferguson by “FISHING FOR A CURE.” Entrants will compete against each other in a bass tournament for great prizes. This club is an independent state organization that is affiliated with The Bass Federation, a national organization of member state federations.  The Bass Federation (TBF)  has existed since 1972, and along with the independent state Federations, has worked to support the grassroots growth of fishing and the growth of the entire sport fishing/outdoors industry.
